Vadivelu wants police protection?

One time top Tamil comedian Vadivelu has asked for police protection.

He has petitioned the DGP "for security to his properties".

Vadivelu has been at the receiving end of public wrath, after DMK lost power.

Remember the comedian was the star attraction at all DMK campaign meetings where he hit out at DMDK leader Vijaykanth, with some vitriolic speeches.

After the assembly election results were announced the star comedian's Saligramam house was attacked.

Later his Padappai farmhouse near Tambaram in Manimangalam police limit was also ransacked.
