First there were gossips that ‘Mankatha’ would release on Thala’s birthday (May 1) as a gift to his fans, when that was an impossible task the film’s team wanted to release the film’s music to please the eager fans of “Thala.” But when this task too became impossible the director of the film, Venkat Prabhu, has come out with a very creative idea to please the fans of Ajith.

Ajith plays Vinayak in Mankatha
Ajith's Mankatha is going to be an important film for the actor.
In an interview to a newspaper, Venkat Prabhu the director of the film says: "Mankatha will be a landmark film for Ajith as it is his 50th film."
Venkat adds: "Ajith's character name in the film is Vinayak Mahadevan. It has shades of grey. In fact I can say he is the villain of the film. Ajith likes Heath Ledger a lot and loves his portrayal of
negative characters.'
Ajith has a salt and pepper George Clooney look in the film. As Venkat said: "I'm sure men will stop dying their hair black after seeing Ajith's look in Mankatha."

STR and Mysskin to work together
Finally Silambarasan’s Vaanam has seen the light of the day yesterday and turned out to be crazy among his fans all over the state. Simbu is very cool and confident about the output of Vaanam as he moved on to his forthcoming projects Podaa Podi and Vettai Mannan.
STR has taken a trip to Spain for shooting for his next project Podaa Podi. Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar is pairing with Simbu and this will be a perfect launch pad for Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar in Kollywood. Simbu is busy with Podaa Podi, Vettai Mannan, Valiban and Dabangg remake in the near future. Latest buzz in the tinsel town is that Simbu is looking forward to work director Mysskin.

Raja has given an interview to a newspaper tabloid said “The film will be a non-stop rollicking mass masala film filled with all right ingredients in right ratio for a block buster hit. Velayudham gives the much needed entertainment and up to date 85 per cent of the film is complete."
Jayam Raja added “Producer Aascar Ravichandran has spent lavishly to make the film look rich and for one particular song, he spent nearly Rs 2Cr. I am happy to be a part of this project and lucky to get a producer who doesn’t compromises on anything for getting a rich product.

Rana’s first press meet held in Chennai
It was the time when Rana team met the press for the first at a five star hotel in Chennai on April 29 evening. The press conference was held to give some brief details about the film and also to introduce Deepika Padukone.

The Shiva Sena of Tamilnadu region also joined hands with the Thevar community to change the title. The filmmakers decided to put an end to all the controversies and so the director Vijay and Vikram have now came out with a new title.

They will now be gunning for a clean sweep and to do that, they will hope that the side will be able to get going with a win in the fourth ODI as well.
The West Indians are clerly struggling with their batting. The team has not been able to get going with sufficiently high scores and that has been the problem behind the way they have played.
They need to go out there and try and get going with a huge score, have the side defending the scores of 250 or so in order the bowlers to be able to come good as well.
Unfortunately for the side, apart from Lendl Simmons and Darren Bravo, none of the players have been able to do much in the tournament so far.

All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) 2011 scheduled to commence at 9:30 am on 1st May, 2011. AIEEE Examination has been delayed by 2:30 hours due to AIEEE 2011 Question Paper leak.
The AIEEE 2011 Exam held in two parts, is now expected to start at 12:00 noon. The second paper, which was scheduled for the noon session from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm, will now be held from 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm.
The exam was delayed after a leaked question paper was recovered by the Uttar Pradesh STF from Kanpur. The Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) conducts the examination.
