Vishal Tamanna in Director Siva's Next

A few days ago we have reported that Cinematographer-turned-filmmaker Siva who turned busy with the success of Siruthai is doing a film with Vishal. After the commercial success of Siruthai which earned whopping amount of profit for the producers, Siva became the most wanted director in Kollywood.

In fact the filmmakers who want to earn higher profits at the box office are in queue to do a film with him. Vishal the toast of the K-town is high on demand these days and Siva clutched this offer of casting him in his flick. Milky beauty Tamanna is playing the female lead opposite action hero Vishal in this flick. Though the actress is going high in Tollywood, she didn’t turn down the offer of Siva.

The last news we have heard from the camp of Nanban is whether Shankar will retain the romantic scenes of the original version or not. Here we are back with the latest updates of Director Shankar’s Nanban.

Currently Director Shankar’s team is stationed in Coimbatore where few very significant scenes are being canned. Jeeva has joined the schedule as soon as returning from Swiss. Shankar is shooting the film on a rapid pace so as to release the film for Diwali. Nanban is running high on expectations even though it is a remake as the director made changes to the original script to match the Tamil audiences.

Nanban features an ensemble cast that includes Vijay, Jeeva, Srikanth, Ileana D'Cruz, Sathyaraj, Sathyan, S. J. Surya, Anuya Bhagvath, Lawrence Raghavendra and others.

Music is by Harris Jayaraj and he has completed recording four songs of the film.

Director Sargunam made a silent hit with the film Kalavani, one of the few very hits of 2010. Right now the director is busy wrapping up his forthcoming project Vaagai Sooda Vaa which features Vimal, Iniya, Bhagyaraj and other sin the lead roles.

It is known that the director is all set to enter wedlock very soon. The director who is the resident of Aambalapattu in Thanjavur district is going to marry Saranya of Sendangaadu, a nearby village. He was so busy that he was unable to attend his engagement ceremony too.

Sargunam with all smiles says “It’s purely an arranged marriage and I am happy about my parent’s decision. Even though I was unable to make myself available for the engagement ceremony, I have called Saranya and pacified her over phone. My girl has watched my film Kalavani and got impressed with my work.

Vaagai Sooda Vaa is a comedy film happening in 1960 and it is shot in some villages of Tamilnadu.

Maaveeran opening in 110 screens across TN

We have seen many dubbing films in Tamil market but Maaveeran being a dubbing film has earned lost of craze with its promotion and the big way its releasing.

Maaveeran is opening on Friday (May 27) in 110 screens in Tamil Nadu and especially 14 screens in Chennai.

Maaveeran has Tollywood Megastar Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan Teja and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead and is directed by hit filmmaker SS Rajamouli. The buzz in the tinsel is that Maaveeran is going to break the records of so far released Telugu films in Tamil.

The scenes of the film shift from contemporary to period drama and back. The audiences are sure to find a smooth transition which is quite interesting.

According to the reports the Telugu version grossed nearly a whooping 150 crores. Maaveeran is being brought to the theatres by Geetha Arts as Red Giant Movies are not

Strong reason behind Tamanna keeping away from Tamil

Milky beauty Tamanna who looks cool and calm is firing on the rumors spread in Kollywood about her marriage. The rumor milling in the tinsel is that she is marrying a man of her choice and so she is not giving importance to Kollywood offers.

On clearing the air Tamanna says “I can’t understand why people follow the rumors. There are lot many good things to write about me, as I have learnt fluent Tamil and now I can dub my own voice for my films in Tamil. But no one identifies this and they keep on running behind gossips”.

Adding more she says “I love to work in Kollywood but the rumors regarding my personal issues which are not true are stopping me not to commit for any new projects in Tamil. I will be back in Tamil soon after completing my projects in Telugu. I will sure do Tamil movies”.

On her forthcoming film in Tamil, Tamanna says “It is really happy to work with Dhanush and Venghai will repeat magic of Siruthai. Director Hari is an expert in making commercial films and he is a through professional.Venghai is touted to be a racy entertainer”.
