What is Surya Grahan?

Solar Eclipse occurs when Moon comes in between Sun and Earth. At a particular location in earth, the moon can completely or partially cover the sun. Surya Grahan occurs only on Amavasya (New Moon or No Moon Day). Minimum 2 and Maximim 5 Solar eclipses occur in a year.
