Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben is fit to play in Wednesday's Champions League play-off first leg against FC Zurich after missing last week's Bundesliga game with VfL Wolfsburg due to back and adductor problems.
Zurich also received news ahead of the clash, however, it was quite disturbing as it was revealed that midfielder Stjepan Kukuruzovic is suffering from cruciate ligament damage and will miss the majority of the season. The central midfielder is expected to be replaced by either Xavier Margairaz or youngster Oliver Buff.
Jupp Heynckes: "We know this is a challenge for us. We are aware of the importance of this game and the demand to reach the group stages. We are up against a creative and strong opponent who will not go into hiding against us."
Urs Fischer: "I think it is normal, without sounding arrogant, that you want to win the game when you walk onto the pitch. We want to try and do this tomorrow. I think it's obvious that it won't be easy. I think everything has to be right for us to have a good result, but it is possible. Our attitude has to be like this, otherwise we could just as well have stayed in Zurich."
