UTV starts Muran Movie promotions
UTV has started promoting their first production Muran.
Special programmes on Muran will appear in three Tamil channels on Independence Day (Aug 15).
Ads have appeared in today’s newspapers saying it is a UTV MotionPictures presentation produced by Ronnie Screwvala.
The audio of the film will be launched through Saregama at a private function on a popular music channel.
Muran was originally produced by Cheran’s Dream Theatres, before the Mumbai based corporate took over the project.
The film has been directed by Rajan Madhav and has Cheran and Prasanna in the lead along with Nikita Thukral, Haripriya and Jayaprakash.
UTV is promoting the Muran scheduled to release on September 1 as “the first engaging road movie”. It is said to have peppy songs by Saajan Madhav, brother of the director of the film.
